I read this article and it got me to thinking about my own prescription of choice: Zoloft. I still feel some of the same things I felt before I was on it, they are just dulled now. Extreme emotions of any kind seem to be cut off before they can even occur.
I’m not going to give tremendous insight into how I feel now and what Zoloft makes me feel like, but I can give some idea of what it is like to be on it. If I, for some reason, miss my daily dosage, I feel fuzzy-headed, sluggish, and have extremely intense emotions. When I first revived my prescription, after a month’s lapse, Zoloft made me feel fuzzy-headed then too.
I often wonder just what these pills are doing to me, if they are just having a placebo effect, and when I’ll be able to get off them. I can’t answer any of these questions, though, so it sucks to be me. This will definetely be continued at some later date!
